Holdem Acehigh at pkr9 — Real Hands, Real Stakes

Ace-high means the ace is the highest-ranking card in the hand. When no pair or stronger combination is made, the ace alone determines who wins the pot at showdown.

The community board is the set of five shared cards dealt face-up — flop, turn, and river. Every player at the table uses these cards alongside their two hole cards to build the strongest five-card hand.

A pre-flop raise is a bet made before the first three community cards are revealed. It signals hand strength and forces other players to call, re-raise, or fold before seeing the board.

Showdown is the final stage where remaining players reveal their hole cards. The player holding the highest five-card combination using any mix of hole and community cards wins the pot.

Pot odds compare the current pot size to the cost of a call. Calculating pot odds helps you decide whether calling a bet is mathematically worthwhile relative to your chance of completing a winning hand.

A live-dealer table streams a real human dealer managing physical cards in real time. You see the deal on screen, place bets through the interface, and the hand resolves exactly as it would at a physical table.
